    Low Calorie Cake

    It’s the last day of school!! I wanted to do something nice for Little J’s teacher. She’s been a wonderful teacher for J.

    Her teacher LOVES Diet Coke…so the Diet Coke cake was born.

    I saw this idea on Pinterest but it was a beer can cake for a guy.  Really the possibilities are endless with this idea.

    Plant Markers

    plant markersI finally got around to making the plant markers that I’ve been thinking about since last Fall.  They are just so darn cute!!

    UPDATE:  I really should have explained what I did with these. Everyone is asking so…

    I dipped the spoons in ordinary black craft paint and hung them to dry. I used a white colored pencil to write on them. It’s currently raining…so far so good on it not washing off. Only time will tell. If it’s a grand fail I’ll let you all know in a new post. 🙂

    Purse makeover

    I’m one of those girls who thinks you can never have too many purses, handbags and totes.

    I’ve used this cute little wicker handbag for several summers as plain-Jane as can be.

    Then the idea struck…what about a little flower embellishment to dress it up a bit.

    I think it’s even better now!!purse 5
