Today for T stands for Tuesday I’m sharing a little snippet of a local outing the kids and went on last week.
We went to the arboretum. It was a gorgeous day. Sunny but not hot.
After walking around, snapping photos for a couple hours we headed off for lunch. We decided to try a place that we’d been very disappointed with in the past. Why would we do that? Well previously it was a dinner and it was at least 5 years ago. Why not try again? 
Little J and I really liked our meals. Big J was indifferent. His food was kind of tasteless without the specialty sauces that came with it…which he didn’t care for.
Overall it was a good experience that I’m glad we tried again…other than the price tag. Yikes! Oh well…we don’t go out that much and it’s summer. Gotta have a little fun.
I’m off to drop one at volleyball and do driving lessons with the other. I’ll be back to check in with my T stands for Tuesday friends as soon as I am able.

Looks like Little J’s hair has grown quite long again. Will it be cut and donated again this year? And KIDS with cell phones! Am I the ONLY person left in this world over the age of 7 without one?

What a wonderful place for a day out! I love gardens, though I always have to pay for it later (severe grass allergy). We have spent the entire day on airplanes and airports – presently in the Arlanda lounge waiting for the last leg of the journey to begin. We had a great holiday, though, so no complaints! Love your photos of the arboretum… went to the arboretum in Sacramento last year and i don’t know was a little disappointed… pretty much just a path thru the trees… I think they needed some focal points…like that koi pond of yours… Sometimes i think its a good idea to give a restaurant another try… the only time i won’t is if i didn’t like it because it was dirty and i have found a few in my town here that i won’t go back to… no excuse for not being clean… Happy happy Tday! Your trip to the arboretum looks like fun. We have our beautiful lake to walk around, but I wish there were more flowers and different plants to enjoy. No complaints though.
