I put aside the sewing for this evening and this is what came of it. It’s a 5×5 inch gallery edge canvas. Fun size to work with. The crown is actually a shank button. I cut a hole in the canvas for the shank to poke through the back.

I am walking on cloud nine today!
I just got an email that a piece I submitted to Somerset Memories will be published in the Dec/Jan issue!!!!! I am thrilled as you can well imagine. I can hardly wait for the magazine to come out.
Late spring of 2008 a charm bracelet of mine will be published in a book titled 1000 Jewelry Details.

Finally!!! I’ve finally gotten to create something! I was really beginning to think I’d never have the chance or even worse…the inspiration to create.Here is the mixed-media piece I made today. Not exactly the style of my home…may give it as a gift or possibly hang it by my computer.
