Over the weekend I started picking up my art space. Putting it back to rights after a shameful amount of time of just moving enough stuff to get a few inches to work within.
Of course, as I was sorting through my piles of papers, I found a blank ATC background ready to use. The stamps where also within sight so…this simple ATC was born.
Next I found this raven image and knew that I already had a pre-painted page in my Playtime AB that would likely look pretty good. When I have extra paint on my palette I paint it onto a random page in a book. Waste not, want not.
Lastly I grabbed my Nature book from the AB 101 class my friend Elizabeth taught several years ago. If you are interested she is currently teaching it again
…for FREE…
I’m not thrilled with the outside edge. I may go back and cover the dots or make them a little more subdued.
I’m hoping to get my art space completely cleaned up and show some “shameful” before and then clean after photos soon. I have a knitted dishcloth order to fill before I can commit anymore time to my art. Totally forgot that they were needed by next weekend!! AGH!

I’ve been wanting to use these circuit board parts for a while but wasn’t sure what to pair them with.

I came across this picture in my pile of old photos. The couple just looked so unhappy, as if their life was just some cruel joke.

After putting the back to back pages together I felt as if I really need to say something about them being “behind bars”.

The words wrapping around the cutout read:
A prison of their own making. Marriage is what you make it. Make it full of love.

I played a bit and made this page.

I think I was feeling like I needed a little warmth and sunshine. The flowers are fabric yo-yo’s.

The sentiment reads:
It’s the little things that make life Big.

Just playing around again.

I found this picture in an old family album. Mom said she wasn’t sure who they were so… I get to play.

Check out the curtains!! And davenport…yes, that’s what my parents always called it.

Anyone know what card game this hand would be good for??? Bet you can’t guess!

Just felt the need to play a bit today.

I spent a very pleasant afternoon in the craft room with my daughter. Daddy had come home sick so we figured we’d spend some time on a quiet activity while he rested.

I don’t really understand art dolls or why people make them but am always willing to experiment. Moonflower child was actually kind of fun to create.

I also made these 2 Map 4×4’s…I still have 2 more to make.

What I really should have been doing today was working on my 12 days of Christmas swap that is due in a couple weeks. I just can’t seem to get into making these gifts this year!
