    12 Days of Christmas Swap

    It that time of year again… I joined a Christmas swap with some of the great artists on abc_alteredbookclub for the annual swap. In the past we’ve made fun little gifts for each participant but this year it was slightly different. We each make a page based on the 12 days of Christmas song. At the end we’ll each have a wonderful Holiday book to cherish every year.

    Here are all the little gifties just waiting to be opened.

    Today’s 1st day of Christmas page was made by Corinne of Glitz-oh Girl.

    Each day I’ll be opening another page…or maybe I should say the kids will be opening another page. They love to open presents!!

    Bits and pieces

    I thought I’d show you some of the projects I’ve been trying to work on until my back tells me to stop.
    I had started each of these projects BEFORE hurting my back…

    First, a bunch of glass marble magnets…

    Then a tiny sneak peek at my 12 Days of Christmas swap…

    And finally, another piece of miniature terrain.

    I have to admit that I’m really having fun making this stuff. It’s a challenge and work is slow…which can become frustrating but the results are worth the wait.

    Gothic arch book complete

    While the kids were gone at a birthday party today, I got busy making a cover for my ABC 7th Anniversary book. 

    One little issue…I miscalculated when I was going to punch the cover with my Bind-it-all.

    UGH!

    But look…amazing what sins a little lace will cover right!?!?
