    Valentine Tea

    I’m having a sweet treat with my tea before heading next door to babysit for a couple hours. I don’t think I’ve even seen her since Christmas. Funny how that is in the winter…everyone drives straight into the garage and shuts the door. No lingering around outside even with our mild winter.
    Maybe that’s why we spend so much time outdoors in the summer!

    Sweet gift

    So earlier this busy week when I picked up the girl from school, her teacher sent along this sweet gift.

    The caption at the top reads:
    Thanks for helping us grow.

    How sweet is that! The pot was signed by all 27 kids in the class just for helping out on library day throughout the year!
    I love it!!

    This is a first….

    On Thursday I decide it’s time to bring in my plants for the winter…not realizing the very next day it will be 88°F.

    So yesterday afternoon I come around the corner in the family room and find this….
    It’s a tree frog!!
    And it has adhered itself to the INSIDE of my brand new sliding glass door!!!! Are you kidding me!?!?
    Apparently I moved his home indoors without an eviction notice.

    I gently evicted him with the help of a plastic cup and spoon…wishing him a happy life somewhere in the OUTDOORS.
