Breakfast Tea

Last updated : February 28, 2016

Since we are supposed to be above 50°F today, I’m planning to walk to knitting group this morning.
It’s just under 2 miles but I felt I had better eat a little more hearty breakfast than my usual Greek yogurt.
I also wanted to show off the cup my mom gave me. It was one from my dad’s collection.

  Isn’t it pretty?!
It has a map of Scotland on the saucer and a pretty scene with thistle on the cup.

Using this cup that he cherished makes me feel close to him.
Now I’m getting very emotional…not very Norwegian of me. :)
I’m off to visit my Tea friends blogs from Kimmie’s site.

What will you be doing today?

oh your father’s tea cup IS so precious and beautiful and I feel honored that you share your feelings for such a special person in your life with us here Halle

that breakfast looks extra yummy and I am a fan of yoghurt too

we are heading out for a late breakfast…that heart waffle in my T post was part of my Belgian waffle at a fun spot called Pocahantas Pancakes…great murals and even part of a teepee in the restaurant…I was happy I noticed the heart shape for a photo before I polished it off ;)

bet you’ll have a great time knitting!
Happy T day to you dear one

You made me hungry with your breakfast of eggs and tea. I want my eggs sunny side up, though. I think I’ll take a break, break an egg, and enjoy reading about your father’s lovely tea cup that inspired you to get emotional so early this morning! Have a great tea today, dear friend.
