My garden harvest is winding down…so
I’ve started the process of saving seeds for next years garden. This way I’m creating my own heirloom seeds. This is what I’ve collected thus far.
I’m waiting for a 3 other tomato plants to ripen so that we may sample the goods and see if they are worth saving.
I got those plants from my psuedo-sister-in-law so I don’t even know what they are called.
Do you save seeds? Vegetables? Flowers?
I save them all….it’s fun to see what comes of it and besides that-
IT”S FREE!!

We are in the process of saving tomato seeds right now too! Just did two of them yesterday!
I do save seeds – sometimes they get planted the following year, sometimes I forget!!!LOL But I always have “volunteers” who pop up in the garden!!
My tomatoes are all still green. I’m so ready to give up on them forever!
I save dill, fennel, coriander, poppy, nasturtium, and marigold seeds. DH has experimented with soft wood cutting for some other plants … But it’s tricky.

Had to stop by for a bit of heirloom tea and seeds. I’ve saved a few herb seeds, but nothing else. I don’t have any luck with growing tomatoes or peppers from seed. I tried it once and gave up. I don’t have the needed lighting. Maybe your hubby could make me one of your light contraptions (grin).

I am always drawn to seed packs…but in truth I do not have very much open space (or patience) when it comes to seeds…I tip my hat and cuppa to you Halle!

I save flower seed and my dad has saved tomato seed before. Those were some of the best plants that we had (the one’s that came from his seed harvest).
I bet you those purple cherry tomatoes are the best. I have never seen one before.
