Plant problem

Today I realized that I have a problem…I am a collector of plants. I never realized it until today. I’ve always had a few house plants but never to the extent that I have now.

I counted 24 as I walked through the house snapping photos. I’m kind of in shock now that I’ve actually counted them.

And now that I look to my left here on the deck I see a fern and my rosemary that overwinter indoors as well.

Yep it is a problem…but a lovely one at that.

Marvin is enjoying some supervised outdoor time with me as I blog this evening. Earlier today he was trying his best to catch a grasshopper. No luck.

I haven’t gotten much crafting done. We’ve had a plumbing issue that has interrupted my craft space and I was too lazy to haul my stuff out and craft elsewhere.

What are you doing today?

  1. I have a plant problem as well. Your look to be thriving! Isn’t wonderful to look around your house and see them.
I hope that your plumbing issue is resolved so that you can get back to creating. That can be frustrating.
    Happy Tea Day,
    Kate

  2. Wow that is allot of indoor houseplants to take care of, but they are nice to have too. hoping your plumbing gets fixed soon Happy T

  3. I used to have a similar problem until I took the plants outside one year and we had a sudden hard freeze in May. I lost everything and refused to buy more. I like how you have yours spaced around your home.

Marvin looks really cozy and a bit lazy. No wonder he can’t catch a grasshopper. I tried to catch one yesterday and I’m too slow, too.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful houseplants, Marvin, and your beer with us for T this soon to be Tuesday, dear friend.

  4. I also have a plant problem. Inside and out too. They are so addicting, aren’t they? And they do clean out the air, taking in some chemicals that build up inside, so they are not so bad of a problem. Thanks for sharing them Halle. I hope you have a lovely T day and start to the new month. hugs-Erika

  5. Beautiful plants and greenery. It adds a lot to a home. I used to have plants, but then they started dying on me. So, kudos to you! Happy T Day.

  6. Wow, all your house plants look so beautiful! My hubby looks after them all in our house as I tend to kill them with love by over watering them … ha, ha 😊. So lovely to see Marvin, he is so handsome and looks chill-axed lounging in the garden. Happy T Day! Hugs Jo x

  7. I love all your houseplants. I have quite a few too. I water everything on Sundays and it takes me a good while spraying and watering and generally pampering them.

  8. Your lovely plant collection made me smile! I too have a plant addiction-you made me count….17, 20 if I count the herbs on my kitchen windowsill! Most are on the balcony, at the moment along with a couple of vases of flowers. Sorry to arrive for T Day so late, hugs, Chrisx
