So my friend Elizabeth has started a new tradition…which is a twist on an old one. She is asking everyone to check in on Tuesdays with what ever you’ve got going on that day. You asked for it my friend….
I have a really busy day ahead…a busy week in fact. Before I dive into the day, I’m enjoying a quiet moment with my coffee and computer.
I won’t go into all the minutia of the day such as meal prep, shopping, errands and cleaning but my main focus today is garage sale stuff.
My neighbors are having a sale starting Thursday and we have a ton of stuff to contribute.
This is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak.
I have the storage room completely torn apart. Boxes all over the family room waiting to be sorted. I still need to go through my closet and more in depth in the craft room. So far I only have a tray of rubber stamps that are leaving.
We keep thinking of other things to get rid of…so we tear into another room or closet.
It’s chaos, I tell you. CHAOS!!
But first…Little J and I are going to knitting.
I need a dose of friends and laughter before tackling anymore boxes!!

And of course, I hope the garage sale goes over well. It’s nice to have neighbors you can share this NOT SO FUN activity with.

Hope you get everything done, that’s quite an undertaking! I need to get some straightening around the house done in hope of a visit from a friend.

sounds like a busy day. i’ll go see about mother and then go to the local produce store to pick up broccoli for tonight’s baked potatoes. except for that, i’ll read all day. i could clean, but what fun is that? ;)

the chaos will all be worth it when you know you’ve gotten some stuff out the door and to a good home … lotta work tho for sure!
I went out in the skanky heat to see the dentist … was wishing it was the Swedish dentist I met when we landed in London … came straight home to be cool in what might ‘feel like’ 105-110 degrees today = WHAT!

Fun! the knitting that is – NOT the sorting! I always have a box in the garage ready to go to goodwill once it gets full – which is about once a month.
wow. you have more energy than I do! good luck with the boxes…the stuff just seems to multiply at my house. everything looks like potential art to me…do you give lessons in ‘brutally sorting and editing?’ good luck!
