Hello and welcome to an extremely abbreviated edition of T stands for Tuesday hosted by the one and only Elizabeth. I must admit this is a scheduled post. As you read this Tuesday morning, I’ll be sitting in a waiting room as my mom has cataract surgery.
I thought I’d share a sweet little tea set my my mom picked up for a song at the annual garage sale in her building.
It’s so cute and so tiny…I really should had set a coin out for reference. The entire plate is perhaps 6 inches across at the widest point.
Fingers crossed that next week I’ll be here in full capacity …school has started…things should be settling down.

That’s a great tea set. She knew exactly what to buy at that sale, didn’t she? It’s a genuine beauty and is completely intact.

Hello Halle, sorry to hear about your mom, hope all goes well and recovery is easy. So nice that you can be there for her. That tea set is the sweetest and so pretty, I love miniature sets. Good luck with back to school also. We are on week 3 of it now, feels hot and muggy and like a beach day not a school day. Happy T Day!

I had some resin tiny tea sets shaped like flowers and i finally decided my granddaughter needed to play with them as they weren’t doing anyone any good sitting on the shelf. :) Happy T day! Good luck to your mom on her surgery. I remember my grandma dreaded having that surgery done and put it off as long as possible. But then when she finally had it done, she was amazed how much better she could see, especially colors. I hope that your mom will have a similar good experience.

I hope your mum’s surgery has gone well. Cataract operations are routine nowadays. Both my parents have had them done. Doctors are so clever aren’t they.

Sweet and lovely little tea set….best wishes for your mom’s quick healing and recovery! She will be pleased with the results…my mom said it was like a miracle when she had hers. Guess we get used to whatever we have to ‘put up with’ and forget what it’s like to see clearly again! kind of like getting our first pair of glasses ;) happy T day a bit late!
