T Tuesday: missed a week edition

Hello and welcome back! I haven’t posted anything in two weeks! Yikes! My creativity is in a slump. I think there are just too many other things on my to-do list that the creative side of me doesn’t get a chance.

That isn’t to say I haven’t done anything creative…just not post worthy at least singularly. Since we had yet another big storm roll through last week we had a snow day on Wednesday. Before beginning the snow removal process I got out my Silhouette and added a vinyl name plate to my school Chromebook. My old one bit the dust after it was knocked off a table. I was issued a replacement…the only trouble is that it looks identical to all the kids.

Not anymore….now I want to add a little more bling just for fun.

Meanwhile the winter storm raged on outside. We got 9.5 inches at our house. There was so much snow that we were running out places to put it. Plus Mr. G had pulled a giant drift off the roof onto the deck. He shocked the heck out of me when he dragged the snowblower up the deck stairs and carefully used it to get rid of the majority of the snow.

After all that it was definitely time for a warm beverage.

Mini-me had another archery tournament and scored her personal best on Saturday.

This weekend our school is hosting a tournament. That means there is lots of work to do for all the kids…and us parents as well.

Yesterday afternoon was spent baking and bagging cookies to sell.  I knew our week was going to be too hectic to do any baking after work. Now to resist the temptation all week….exactly the reason I bagged them all up right away. I know me….my weakness is strong, to quote Patton Oswalt.

What are you doing today?

Now that is too much snow, it looks like you are prepared for snow and the blower must be a handy machine to have. The treats all look delicious, it must have been hard to resist a taster.
    Happy T day wishes.

Ugh, that’s a lot of snow. That could be the storm that dumped rain on me instead of snow, thankfully. But now we have snow forecast for mid week. Is it Spring yet? I like the mini-me tournament photos. Happy T-Day!

We have had unusual warm and sunny weather here, it seems like it’s April not Feb at the moment! Stay warm and wishing you a very happy T Day! J ? x

We got rain, or my house would have looked like yours, sans the snowblower, of course. Much of KS got up to 11 inches, so I feel for you and poor Mr. G. It seems like this is the winter that simply won’t quit. There is more on the way for both of us, too!!!

Nice look for your new laptop. Glad the school replaced it. I hope you get time to craft, although I’m glad that Mini-me had a great meet.

Those cookies look great. I’m in lust (grin). And I love your Minnesota mom mug. Sounds like you both deserved a nice hot drink after the snow experience.

Thanks for sharing your hot drink, cookies, snow day, and Mini-me’s archery meet with us for T this Tuesday.

One of my friends lives in Rochester. She posted pictures of the snow. You guys got slammed. O-: Hopefully, this is the end for the season. I’m so done with Winter. Love the Spring flower on your Chromebook. Congratulations to your daughter on scoring her personal best. The cookies look awesome. I would have done a thorough taste testing before bagging the cookies. =^,.^= Happy T Day

All that snow reminds me of our last winter in NJ, Halle. There was no place to put it anymore! I took a picture of my hubby putting the snowblower in the garage for the last time, as well of one of him standing in front of the 9-foot high pile of snow wearing his “Michelin Man” jacket.

Kudos to Mini-Me for her personal best. IMO, baking is an art. So you did get some art done. However I do hope you get a break soon – from the snow as well as the flurry of activity (grin).

Haha, I know what you mean about the temptation of those bagged baked goods. Much to my family’s dismay I prevent the temptation of eating by not baking.

How fun that your daughter is into archery. I bet that is fun to to watch her tournaments.
    Happy Tea Day,
    Kate

Oh my, you really had loads of snow. Love the name on your new Chrome-book. Freshly baked cookies are a BIG temptation, that’s for sure! Congrats to your daughter on her archery results. Happy T Day, Valerie

I like your personalised laptop! Now it won’t be mistaken for someone else’s.
Still loads of snow your way! And we are having exceptionally warm weather. The world has gone crazy.
Those cookis look very yummy, so it’s a good idea to bag them up before they bite the dust.
Well done Mini-me for a personal best!
    Hope the tournament goes well,
    Have fun,
    Happy belated T-Day,
    Lisca
