T Tuesday: Pain in the neck edition

BAH! It’s come around to T stands for Tuesday too quickly for me this week. Where does the time go??

Maybe its the plethora of things on my calendar lately.

Or perhaps the pain in my neck and shoulders is what has me out of sorts. I am getting better though. A couple trips to the chiropractor and some stretching exercises have been very helpful.

20130922_3457I had eluded to some changes that were possible on the horizon…it looks as if that is not to be right now. Perhaps that means I’m supposed to go in the direction I had been planning before this other opportunity presented itself. I know I’m being vague but until things are set in stone, I feel like I can’t say much more than that.

20130922_3458 20130922_3452 20130922_3453 20130922_3454 20130922_3456I attended Craftclub next door last Thursday and made 6 new cards,  saw a couple cool techniques and had a yummy pink frosted cupcake.

Why is a pink frosted cupcake significant you ask?  Don’t you just love it when I put words in your mouth?  Well, that is how we found out that one of our crafters is expecting a baby girl at New Years. FUN!

I’ve been having a mini love affair with flowers lately. It seems most things I do have them.

I once again have to apologize for not getting around to everyone…or truthfully…hardly anyone last week.  Tuesday came and went in the blink of my eye and the rest of the week was crazy as well. By the weekend I did have little bit of time but honestly I just didn’t have the energy to visit.

I’m off to knitting and a couple errands. My usual Tuesday gigs.

I’ll be back in plenty of time for visiting today.

What are you doing today?

I’m sure if it is meant to be… then it will happen… whatever ‘it’ is?? LOL
Lovely cards, I do that with flowers… use them on something and then they appear on everything but they are such an easy additional touch of prettiness and texture.

I don’t use flowers (or other dimensional embellishments) enough. I should take a lesson from you, because you have some lovely cards.

You are being quite cryptic, but I realize all will be revealed soon. Possibly over tea!

I hope you are feeling better. I can relate to being offline and not feeling like sitting long enough to read blogs. Sounds like the chiropractor got you well enough to attend your weekly Tuesday “gig,” though.

Sorry to hear about your pains, hope you get better soon. I know how you feel about which direction to go in. Last year in found myself in a situation and wasn’t sure which way to turn. I decided to let things settle and see where they fell and made a decision from there. It all worked out perfectly. Take your time and I am sure everything will be find. I am sending go luck wishes just in case you need them.

Your cards are pretty–I like the different textures in the layered flowers! I’m a big fan of flowers, and they seem to find their way into almost everything I make. I hope your neck pain is better.

I also enjoyed seeing your posts on soap making. I love using homemade soap, but have never tried making it myself. Not sure if I could wait a month to use it!

Your cards look fabulous. Hope your aches and pains have got better. Maybe slowing down will help. I get the same neck-shoulder pains when I strain and do too much work.

    Hi Halle,
Sorry I’m so late in getting around for T day, my errands took on a life of their own yesterday, and I was done-in when I finally got home. Thanks for the visit.
I LOVE all your cards and the way you played with the torn papers. I think my favorite one is the one under your cup, it matches so perfectly.
Hope your neck pain eases, I see my Chiropractor every week……..keeps me walking.
    Have a great week!
