T Tuesday: problem edition

I’m linking up once again with Elizabeth for T stands for Tuesdaylist tea

I spent the morning with my cup of coffee preparing a list for today.  Lots of errands. I worked a couple days last week so I feel a bit behind.

This morning as I was getting my knitting bag ready, I realized I have a problem… A big one. yarn problemI can’t stop myself from buying yarn at Goodwill!!! Yikes. I buy it WAY faster than I can use it.  At least, I can say that I AM using it.

What are doing today?

I NEVER find yarn at Goodwill OR Salvation Army. If I did, I’d buy it and send it to YOU. Then you would have even more.

As I was blog surfing the other day, I saw a blog where a gal made these rings for dogs out of sweet potatoes. You cut slices of sp, then use a small cutter to remove the center. After you cook them at 250 F for 4 hours, then turn and do the same on the other side, remove them and string them on a “thingy” that looks VERY similar to your recycled dog chew toys. Of course, the gal bought a length of rope at the hardware store, so she didn’t recycle like you.

Hope you enjoy your day out and about. My day is going to get busy soon, since I’ll be with Scott.

Thanks for sharing your list and your coffee with us for T this Tuesday.

That list is entirely too long for a day! If I had a list that long, I think it might scare me into reading instead ;)

I can never find good yarn at Goodwill. What’s up with that? Now, I know. It’s because you’re buying all the good stuff. Guess what? I finished my garland. It’s so cute. I’m going to make another.

Hello and Happy T Day! How funny this is, so glad you find yarn you can use. Maybe the kids will want to take up knitting or use it for some crafts. Hope your week is a good one :)

I have that same addiction :) It’s hard to pass on such bargains and I have purchased amazing yarns for almost nothing. I’m sure you’ll find a use for the yarn scraps from the “Bacon” scarf :)
