I’ll have to be quick this morning…I’m heading out to get my mom for a shopping expedition. My list is made…hopefully hers is too.
Hope everyone had a nice Halloween. We almost ran out of candy even after going back and buying a second bag last minute. The number of kids at the door doubled from last year. I guess the neighborhood is changing….lots of new families with younger kids.
Several of you commented on my photo from yesterday with all the pumpkins. Mr. G was able to bring them home from the auto shop next door to his for free. They’d had an event and ended up with about 50 leftovers that they were begging to get rid of. Score!! Now is the chore of digging all the seeds out to roast…love them but hate the stringy, smelly insides.

Nothing wrong with a quick T post! Sometimes all i have time for is quick visit! :) We live out in the boonies so no trick or treaters for us…But i loved handing out candy when we lived in CA.. i do miss it.. I hope the kids are getting back to trick or treating .. so many were trying to discourage it for a time… Happy happy T day! Hugs! deb
Well weren’t you the lucky camper. Mr. G thought wisely and you found a great place for the pumpkins. You don’t what to know what I had to pay for mine.
Sally just called and wants me to go to the doctor with her in case she can’t drive home. So I’m also being quick and it will give me a chance to further decide what I want to make this month for AEDM.

We don’t get trick-or-treaters at all here. We buy candy anyway, of course, and eat it ourselves ;) Happy T Tuesday!
I have a similar list going for today too. I was hoping to get in some mixed media this afternoon, but the list has gotten so long it now needs attention….LOL!
Lucky catch on the pumpkins. I watched some program where they used a paint stirring device, hooked to a drill to clean the insides of the pumpkins….looked like it worked really well…..and FAST!

That’s a lot of work you have ahead of you to get out so many pumpkin seeds-they are delicious but I wouldn’t enjoy that task.

I hope you had a good shopping expedition with your mum. That sort of thing can be quality time together even when doing something as mundane as shopping.
We don’t get trick or treaters here (I think, I’ve never seen any), but I did see some children dressed up.
