T Tuesday: Something’s brewing edition

T stands for Tuesday rolls around more quickly each week it seems. Think it’s possible that our hostess Elizabeth is speeding up time? Yeah…probably not happening.

This week my Tea is not for drinking… I’m just dye-ing to show you what I’m doing. *teeheehee*

Tea dye

My supplies are simple…old package of 6 tea bags that I’d never drink. Scraps of linens, lace and ribbon. Glass bowl. Boiling water. And time.

toil and trouble

Bubble, bubble toil and trouble. And now we wait…

I’m heading for a brisk morning walk with a friend.

What are you doing today?

I still need to try this, everyone else it seems has here at T time. Just gotta find the time and energy to do it. I always love the end results when others share and can’t wait to see yours.
Good for you braving the cold for a walk outside, not sure I’m as brave today. Although I did on Sunday.
Thanks for sharing and Happy T Day!

What I see are great tea tags, and awesome frame cut from your tea box, and some lovely results you will get once these goodies cool and dry. Of course, it sounds like if you set the bowl outside, it would cool far too quickly for steeping your fabrics.

Happy T today. I love the way you set this post up.

I am imagining the tea magic going on while you are out walking. Like others, I’ll be waiting to see how your laces came out and what you are going to do with them.

When I cleaned my kitchen recently I found a bunch of old tea bags I will never use–and kept them to try something like this. :) Happy late T-Day.

Tea dyeing how fun! You must show us your results, and what you will use them for.
I have been know to use my cold coffee in a pinch, just because it is sitting right there on my desk…LOL

So creative with your “T” on this Tuesday! I’ve never dyed with tea before, but I know my mother does it all the time! She tea stains E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! Hope yours comes out beautifully. Hugs xo
