T Tuesday: Spring Break edition

I wish I could say this was a scheduled post and I was relaxing with a cocktail on a tropical beach somewhere…that was not to be. Instead our “real feel” temp was below zero this morning. And it snowed yesterday. Little J  made the remark “this isn’t Spring Break…it’s Winter Break.” So true.spring break teaLittle J and I are going to make flubber later…should be messy.

For now I’m going to visit the link list over at Elizabeth’s blog.

What are you doing today?

We had snowflakes yesterday, but not many–the dancing in the wind kind. We were warm at 7 degrees this morning then, I guess–LOL! Have fun making flubber!
    Happy T-Day! :)

yup, looks more like winter here in PA again too-with light snow falling…a tropical beach sure sounds perfect about now:) Had to check your link as I never heard of flubber-what fun for kids-but what do you do with it once you make it?

Winter break indeed! It just started to rain here in NOCAL, we really need it so I’m not complaining. No little ones here to make flubber with but it is certainly a good day to knit. That’s what I’m going to do. Knit and drink tea.

brrrrrr that is cold, didn’t know it was that cold still anywhere. CRAZY CRAZY!!! Think we all need to pack up and move to a beach/island till summer gets here. Hope it was a fun day with your little one.

I read the posts below and love your pages. Great that you could feel better about the yelling teen, that is a tough job and to realize it’s not personal. Hope the rest of your week goes well and warmer!!

    Happy (day late) T-Day!
I went to the link for the flubber recipe. I think my kids might have made that when they were little too. Sure sounded familiar.
Snow, snow go away … I hope you are going to get some warmer weather soon. It’s got to be tiring.

Just got home and stopped in to see you. Glad you didn’t try to call, or Bleubeard might have answered (grin). I’d never heard of Flubber, because I have no “kids” that would be interested in making it with me. And what in the heck is BORAX? Found in the detergent aisle? Hope you share this fun project with us soon.

Thanks for causing more questions than answers (grin) for T this week. You’re a real sweetie (and that’s not something to laugh at).

Brrrr! It has been a lovely sunshiney day today, but it sure is cold now. Glad we don’t have snow tho! Just your drink made me feel cold.
Love your word for tooting! Going to have to use that one!
What do you do with flubber?
Sorry I am late but glad I am or I wouldn’t know about tooting!
    Haa Haa
    Hugs
