T Tuesday: update edition

Last updated : April 10, 2016

T stands for Tuesday rolls around all too quickly each week! I feel like I’m playing catch up all the time. moody tea

I thought I’d give you a little update on life around here.

Not much has changed with the seeds I’ve started other than the view outside is a little white. We got about 4″ of snow which is actually good since we were under a red flag fire warning. 20150323_7478

If you look really closely you can see a few little bits of green popping through the soil.

I also wanted to share about Little J’s surgery. It went really well. She is up and around almost as if nothing had ever happened. She is even going to school today a mere 3 days after knee surgery. Crazy!! Miracles of modern medicine and the resiliency of youth!!

What are you doing today?

First of all I am so happy for the successful surgery little J had! Your seed plantings look good , and organized too. I don’t have the green thumb nor the patience for it. Happy T day!

So happy to hear Little J’s surgery went well, and it is remarkable how fast kids bounce back from these things. I do see the peaks of green an am inspired to start my basil soon.

If it makes you feel any better….I always saw to myself I should start writing next Tuesday’s post on Wednesday…I’m always trying to catch up, too!

It’s wonderful news all round. Great to read that Little J is doing so well. I agree that medicine has come a LONG way since we were kids. I remember when I was in kindergarten, I told my teacher that my Aunt Betty (my Grandmother’s sister) was a medical doctor. The teacher told me no, I meant a nurse. I tried to correct her, but she was bigger and more insistent than me. My grandmother finally had to call the school and set her straight. Now days all you see in ads are female doctors. I think they are more common than male MDs.

I saw the small sprouts showing through the soil. You and your snow. We are having a heat wave, and I’m ready to put my AC in the window of my office. What a difference a few hundred miles makes. OK, a bit more than a few hundred, but who’s counting (grin).

Thanks for sharing this update and your tea with us for T this Tuesday.

Glad to hear little J has mended so quickly.

Like Debbie, I sometimes start my T-post a little early too. Takes forever to up load the photos sometimes. Of course this week I waited until this morning……LOL

    Happy T-day

Kids recovery so much more quickly! That’s so good to hear.
Plants just sprouting and snow on the ground. (I am actually jealous of the snow since we had little or none this winter.) Happy T-Day! :)
