T Tuesday: rainy week edition

rainy dayI come to you today with wet feet. Figuratively…thank goodness. We’ve had over 6 inches of rain in the past 72hrs and it’s still coming down….and is expected to thru Friday. coffee listToday as usual I’m making my lists. It’s yet another busy week…actually busier than normal. I’m thinking I need to redefine my normal.20140428_4667I did do another painting over the weekend. It’s on a 12×12 canvas. I’m thinking that I want to put a gloss or at least satin coat over the top because I liked it even more while it was still wet.20140428_4668So far it’s untitled. The top makes me think of sun flares and the bottom, the ocean…what’s in the middle? I’m not sure. I just loved those colors together and the bleeding effect both up and down.

Oh joy…I just looked outside and now it’s snowing.snowingActually much harder than this picture, now that I got it edited. Camp is not going to be fun if this keeps up.

I’m off to do errands but will be back later to visit all my T stands for Tuesday friends.

Snow? I finally saw it in the photo. You are NEVER going to see spring at this rate.

    Camp? What did I miss?

Normal? Never thought of that in conjunction with you (grin).

Thanks for bringing some fun to this post, and glad to see Gracie with dry paws. It’s so dusty and DRY here, Bleubeard is sneezing.

Hello and Happy T Day! Sadly it’s raining here and not letting up, puddles are the worst sight out a window aren’t they. SNOW, no way am I ready to see that out my window though. So sorry your still getting some. Hope and hope that spring will finally come to all of us and STAY and BE WARM!!
Love the painting, gorgeous colors together!
Have fun dodging the raindrops on your errands, I have those today too. Actually, this is a busier then normal week for me too. Just counting down till next Tuesday when it will be “normal” again.
    Have a good week!

Oh dear, more snow?? We are getting ready to hit 90′ today, where for the past 5 days we have floated between 62′ and 73′. So this week we will have summer!! Crazy weather for sure, so I’m sending along some of our warm sun shine and temperatures for you to enjoy!

As for your “normal” routine………..hmmmmm I’ll have to look the word up in the dictionary as I am not familiar with it myself……LOL

    Have a great week!

I’m thinking that busy is the new normal :)
Your painting is fabulous, I think the line looks like a village or city-scape and the bleeding as reflections. It’s interesting what people see in such art :)
    Happy T day :)

    Happy T Day Halle …
Normal is all relative isn’t it ;)
We are getting some of your moisture in rainfall the next few days…
but no snow…at least it looks like it is greening up a bit for you all which is hopeful!

Your canvas looks great and I know what you mean about wet things having additional charm…we went to a glass beach in CA and when the pieces were wet they really glistened and looked extra tempting!

The first thought about what comes in between on your canvas is LIFE…

Great painting, I agree with Nancy, the painting does seem to have a “horizon” with a few very distant buildings.

Rain is fine but no snow thank you.

Haa Haa! I asked Hubby to keep bottle caps as I have it in mind to make a wind chime. I didn’t know why but I do now….the top of your blog! Of course I haven’t told him or he will tut!
Sorry to hear you have the wet stuff! I was going to say at least it isn’t white but you are having that too. What a shame.
Is list making a blogging/crafty thing? There are lists all over the house of some sort or another! Haa Haa!
    Happy T Day.

I love that canvas! Being one who appreciates deep, rich color, too, I often like mine better when they are still wet. That might be a good idea to add a top coat of some kind. I hope you show us a before and after if you do. :)

We’ve had rain for days, too. And they’re saying it could turn to snow in the next couple days because it is supposed to be colder, especially at night. It could have snowed on any of the nights it rained up here but I never saw it and don’t watch the news–LOL! May be better off not knowing, eh? We had sun for a few hours today, though, and it was really wonderful to see. :) Happy T-Day!

You think my spritz are classy? Cool! Thank you!!!

My son called today’s weather “snain”–half snow, half rain. :)

Like many of the other commenters, I also love your canvas. The vivid colors have so much energy and impact.

    Happy T Day!

Didn’t quite make it to Tea this week. We are having much the same weather as you…except for the snow (I hope)! I really like the colors you chose for your canvas.
