Layered houses

Last updated : April 10, 2016

Christmas houses sparkleI bought myself a Tattered Angels paint system on clearance a few weeks ago. I had no idea what to expect. Honestly, I think I was trying to get my craft order to qualify for free shipping…not from Amazon.

I painted a base layer with gesso then standard craft paints…wiping a bit back with baby wipes.  Then it was time to try out each paint in the set.

I really like the way the green turned out, I was skeptical when I was painting with it. The color is called Dirty Martini….it may be that in itself that makes me love it more. :)

Anyway…lots of  experimentation going on here.

I have a couple of Tattered Angel sprays but have never heard of their “paint system”…
looks like the ingredients were worth worth it as your house pages turned out super!

I like houses a lot…fun seeing what text pops up too!

Your layered house pages are really nice. I have not heard of this line of paints but am always up for experimenting and playing with craft stuff! Hope you have a Happy New Year!

I stopped by early today to leave you a comment and my computer froze. I got the dreaded “blue screen.” Then I couldn’t get back online for some reason.

I’m like Patty. I have two of their inks, but no paint. I was certainly impressed with your purchase, though. And could the name of the paint have had some influence in your use (grin)?

Have fun painting! The colors look tantalizingly shimmery.

    Happy (almost) New Year!
