T Tuesday: evening edition

Hello…welcome to a late edition of T stands for Tuesday. I know our wonderful hostess, Elizabeth, won’t mind that I’m running way behind today….hope you don’t either.20140916_7008

My morning started with one sick kid, a forgotten item and errands. I’ve been running ever since.

One of my errands was to Michaels. They are having a big sale right now including storage containers… Yeah! I’m working on organizing my art zone.20140916_7007

I’ve managed to get a few things under control but additional storage was definitely needed.20140916_701120140916_7010

When everything has a place, it is much easier to put it away where it belongs….instead of stacked here there and everywhere.20140916_7009I’ve still got some work ahead of me for my space but I’m hopeful that with it organized, I’ll be much more inclined to create and then clean up. One can dream right?!?

I’ve still got a little bit of homework helping to do but then I’ll visiting my T Tuesday friends…at least until I get too tired…then the rest will have to wait for tomorrow.

  1. Lucky you. I’m delighted to see you are organizing your craft area. Now I suspect you will be able to keep it clean longer. Good luck with the ribbon storage. Let me know how it works. I still can’t find a good way to store mine. Maybe that’s why I don’t use it often.

Sorry to read about one of the kids being sick. I sure hope it doesn’t last long. Thanks for sharing your day with us for T this Tuesday.

  2. When I saw your first photo, I said uh oh, someone’s sick, and right at the start of the school year. I hope they are feeling better soon and that no one else catches it!

Your re-organization looks great, and I know those new containers will be a big help. Since I don’t have a separate room to craft in, I have to put everything away pretty much right away, too.

  3. Happy T-Day (on a Wednesday)! I must have missed yours when I was making my round around the T gang last night.
Sorry to hear about the sick kiddie. Hopefully it won’t get passed around. I remember how that was with my kids. One big happy (sicky) family.
Looked like you are well on your way to being organized. I tried too but it only stay organized for a short while then I get all the things jumbled together and turn into one big mess. Why can’t we just do it once so we can move on to more fun stuff!
