AJJ: Transplanted Blossoms

This page was inspired by the colors of the 3 three project life cards I used. I picked up a large set that was new in box at the thrift store. I like using these as card backgrounds and collage fodder.

The one with the tickets really set the palette for me. I began pulling pieces that I thought would work.

I’ve really been in love with mixing styles. Bold prints and vintage images. Clean lines and torn fabrics.

Finding a bit of text in my stash that blended my thoughts together….well…brought it all together.

I hope you’ll stop by Art Journal Journey this month and check out others take on my theme of Botanicals. We’d love it if you’d join in!

You certainly know how to use colors Halle. These light muted shades really look like summer. This is a lovely page for your challenge. Hope your week is going well. hugs-Erika

Sounds like you scored with those cards. You certainly put them to good use. I love how you mixed fabric textures with cardstock. This is another incredible entry using your theme at AJJ. I LOVE it.
